Serve with an Arugula salad with a vinaigrette dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork cutlets (about 4)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg mixed with 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 package G. Washington Seasoning (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper

Mix 1/2 packet of seasoning in the flour or just use salt and pepper.  Coat each cutlet in flour mixture.  The flour helps the egg to stick.

Dip the floured cutlets in the egg mixture.  The egg makes the breadcrumbs stick.

Mix the other 1/2 packet of seasoning with the breadcrumbs or just use salt and pepper.  Press each cutlet into the breadcrumbs to coat.

Add 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil to pan and heat on medium.  When oil is heated, add cutlets.

Cook 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown (5-6 minutes total).

Instructions
  1. Mix salt and pepper and/or seasoning in the flour and in the breadcrumbs
  2. Coat each cutlet first in flour
  3. Dip floured cutlet in egg
  4. Press each cutlet in breadcrumbs to coat
  5. Preheat 3 tablespoons vegetable oil in frying pan on medium heat
  6. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown (5-6 minutes total)
  7. Place between paper towels to remove excess oil
