Two simple ingredients (frozen mango and steel cut oats) combined with water make a tasty and filling breakfast. The mango is sweet, so no extra sugar or sweetener is needed. And steel cut oats have many health benefits, but they take too long to cook and not everyone likes hot oatmeal.
Loosely measure about 2 cups of frozen mango. You can grind 1/4 cup steel cut oats in a blender or food processor to make the texture a bit finer, but I don’t mind a little crunch in my smoothie so I usually just leave them as is. Add 1 cup of water and blend.
