Easy appetizer served with chips or as a side for Mexican meals.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe avacados
- 1/4 cup onion chopped
- 1/4 cup tomatoes chopped
- 1/2 lime
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
- 1/3 Jalapeno pepper (seeds removed, chopped very small)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Cover tightly with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator.
Make sure to press the plastic wrap down tightly to avoid air pockets which will turn the avocado brown.

- 3 Haas avacados (ripe)
- 1/4 cup onion chopped
- 1/4 cup tomatoes chopped
- 1/2 lime (juice form 1/2 lime)
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
- 1/3 Jalapeño pepper (seeds removed, chopped very small)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Cut avocados in half and remove pits.
- Scoop out avocado and mash with fork.
- Mix in lime juice, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, Jalapeño pepper and salt.
- Adjust salt if necessary.
